Cost & ROI

Yes — and it's the strongest differentiator in 2025–2026.

Competitors not using European funds pay in full. You don't have to.

AI implementation funding through European funds Regio Centru

In short

SMEs (Small and Medium-sized Enterprises) in the Central Region can access Regio Centru 2.2 for digitalization, custom software, and AI solutions. Innovative clusters can access program 1.2.2, with significantly higher values and consortia. We help you map your AI project to eligible activities and build the technical documentation that accompanies the application.

  • Regio Centru 2.2 — for SMEs in the Central Region
  • Program 1.2.2 — for innovative clusters
  • Software, AI, licenses, training costs — eligible
  • We build the AI technical documentation together

What you can fund, specifically

Usually eligible activities include: custom software development, integrations with existing systems, API (Application Programming Interface — lets two applications communicate) licenses for AI models, team training on solution usage, infrastructure (cloud/on-premise), security and compliance audit (GDPR — General Data Protection Regulation, the European regulation on the protection of personal data; EU AI Act — European Regulation 2024/1689 on artificial intelligence). The exact list depends on the accessed program and the current applicant's guide.

How we handle the technical part

Together, we prepare the technical memorandum, solution description, implementation plan with deliverables and KPIs (Key Performance Indicator), plus documentation showing expenditure eligibility. We work closely with your funding consultant — we don't replace them, we provide the technical content they need.

Why it's a real differentiator

In a context where 74% of European companies are looking for AI but are wary of the cost, access to European funding transforms "not now" into "why not." Whoever starts first with funding gains ground before the market gets crowded.
